What happens after I submit my details?
Once we receive your details, we review everything and arrange to give you a call within 24–48 hours during office hours. On the call, we’ll confirm your package with you and clarify anything we need to get started on building your website.
How long does it take for you to build my website?
We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround time. Once we’ve confirmed everything with you, we get underway within 24–48 hours, with an aim to have the full website ready for you to preview within 7–14 days. Yep, that’s right! We don’t waste any time.
Do I need to write the website copy myself?
No, we write the core website copy for you based on the information you provide. You’ll get to review everything before it goes live.
Will I be able to review the site before it goes live?
Yes. You’ll get a full preview of your website and nothing goes live until you’ve approved it. One review round is included.
What’s included in the monthly price?
Your monthly price covers a fully built website with tailored copy, essential pages, domain name, hosting, mobile-friendly design, search engine friendly setup, GDPR cookie consent, Google submission on launch, and ongoing maintenance and updates.
Is the domain and hosting included?
Yes. Your domain name, hosting, and all the technical setup are included in your monthly price for as long as your plan is active.
When do I pay?
You won’t pay until your site is ready and you’ve approved it for launch. No upfront payment, no risk. You can also choose to pay annually upfront and save 20%.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. You can choose to pay upfront for the year and save 20% off the monthly price.
What if I need a logo designed?
We supply four logo concepts to choose from, based on your business details and any preferences you share with us. You pick your favourite. You only pay for your logo if you’re happy with it. Once payment is received, we upload it to your website and send you the hi-res version for use elsewhere — branding, print, signage, whatever you need.
Can I use my existing logo?
Absolutely. If you already have a logo, we’ll use it on your website. Just send it across and we’ll take care of the rest.
What if I already have an existing website?
No problem. We’ll need either your login details to your hosting provider or we can supply you or your hosting provider with instructions for updating the domain settings (DNS) to point to our server. We only repoint your website, not your emails, so there’s no disruption to your email service.
How will my website appear on Google?
We submit your website to Google as part of the launch checks. It can usually take a number of days for Google to start indexing your website, and it normally takes 2–4 weeks before you start seeing your website appearing in Google for your business name. Every site is also built with SEO best practices including optimised page titles and meta descriptions, clean URL structure, fast page load speeds, structured heading hierarchy, mobile-first responsive design, image optimisation, and proper schema markup where applicable.
Can I make changes to my website after it’s live?
Yes. Minor text and image updates are included as part of your ongoing maintenance. If you need larger changes such as new pages or additional features, we can quote for those separately.
Do I own my website?
You own all the content you provide and the website copy we write for you. The design, code, and underlying systems remain with Launch My Local Site while your plan is active. If you cancel, we can provide your content on request within 30 days of termination.
What if I need something more bespoke?
If you need something beyond the standard package, select the bespoke option in the package builder and we’ll prepare a tailored price for you.
What happens after the 12-month minimum term?
After the initial 12 months, your plan continues on a monthly rolling basis. Cancellation requires 30 days’ written notice by email. Your website, hosting, and maintenance remain active while your plan is in place.
